On Mar. 29th, 2012, Team Starflex returned to Sinestra's domain, hidden deep beneath the Bastion of Twilight, and brought the brood-mother to her knees. Better late than never, Starflex! A huge round of applause goes out to all those involved in this boss execution!
Glory of the Firelands Raider

On November 13th, the 25-Man Progression team completed their final meta-achievement in Firelands, "Not an Ambi-Turner"
This last achievement wrapped up Glory of the Firelands Raider for us, earning the team the coveted corrupted fire hawk flying mount.
A huge round of applause go out to the men & women that helped make this possible. I've said it before and will continue to say it: In this Cataclysm-era where 25-Man raiding guilds continue to crumble and fall, the dedication and loyalty of our 25-Man Progression Raiders goes on to impress with their skill and hard-work, and I am both proud and humbled to be their guild leader.
...and so, our appetite is whet for Deathwing himself...
Goldenrod Completes Tarecgosa's Rest

On the evening of October 30, 2011, Descendants of Draenor returned to Firelands for their regular weekend clears. This weekend was different, however, as it marked a checkpoint for the progression raiders. It was on this evening that Goldenrod, Ranged DPS officer and long-time Mage of DoD was able to complete the legendary staff quest, Tarecgosa's Rest. He joins the elite few members of the guild whom were given the opportunity to gain a legendary item. We congratulate Goldenrod and thank him for his many moons of services dedicated to the support and perseverance of Descendants of Draenor.
Heroic Baleroc & Majordomo Defeated

On the evening of Oct 16, 2011, the 25-Man Progression team returned to Firelands, and began work on Heroic Baleroc, after only an initial few learning attempts from the previous night. During attempt number 7, in which Countdown and Torement continued to plague the raid team, a number of key individuals fell over dead--but the team continued to stick to their rotations for practice. One by one, more of the team fell dead, and a wipe was surely imminent.
Unfortunately for Baleroc, the 25-Man Progression team didn't wipe quite as fast as he'd hoped:
The only way the 25-Man Progression team could top that Heroic Baleroc kill, was to go straight to Majordomo Fandral Staghelm, and execute their first kill of him in Heroic. Ask, and ye shall receive:
A huge round of congratulations to the 25-Man Progression team of Descendants of Draenor. We are now officially 6/7 Heroic on the server, and only 1 of 3 guilds to execute these bosses in 25-Man mode on Deathwing-US. The team has earned a weekend off. We'll see you at Blizzcon!

Not content with just finishing off one new Heroic boss from the previous night, the 25-Man team returned to Firelands on Sunday and added yet another boss to the kill list. This time, it was none other than the fiery traitor, Alysrazor. Kudos to the team on a super raiding weekend!

Fresh from their defeat of Lord Rhyolith, the 25-Man Progression team returned to Firelands the very next week, and on their first night of serious work on Beth'tilac, managed to kill the gargantuan spider in Heroic mode. This makes the team 3/7, and 3rd on the server in 25-Man Progression. Congratulations to all!

Never in the history of Descendants of Draenor has the 25-Man Progression team slaved over a fight as grueling as this one. In a record-breaking stretch of 10 nights of work, along with a 15% nerf to his health and damage, the progression team finally brought Heroic Lord Rhyolith to his knees on this evening of September 25, 2011.

Since the defeat of Ragnaros in 25-Man Firelands, the progression team have been itching to demonstrate their ability to drop heroic bosses. Work began immediately on a number of various bosses in Firelands to test the waters, and determine who best to strike at first. It became clear very early that the first boss would be Shannox.
Work began officially on Shannox on Aug. 12th, and on the second night of work, one week later, a very clutch kill was pulled off (as the screenshot below illustrates). Congratulations to the 25-Man Progression team for their hard work and the success of their first heroic boss kill in Firelands!
DoD Completes a Nutritious Breakfast with Ragnar-O's

The 25-Man Progression team knuckled down and ate two weekends (four raids) of extending their Firelands lock in order to see if they could take out Ragnaros without having to spend weeks and weeks re-clearing and gearing up for the battle.
In the end, Ragnaros fell to the might of the DoD raiders mid-way through the fourth raid day. An absolutely amazing accomplishment which earns them the 1045th world-wide 25-Man kill of Ragnaros. In this era of Cataclysm where 25-Man Raiding Guilds are far and few between, this is an outstanding demonstration of teamwork and skill. Congratulations to all who contributed! We will see you very soon for our 25-Man Heroic work!
